Amanda is a Hudson Valley native who lives in Nyack with her husband and four-year-old twins. Amanda joined Cane & Boniface, P.C. in 2021. She assists clients with all aspects of their estate planning and estate settlement needs including complex financial and tax planning strategy, the preparation of trusts, final will and testaments, probate and administration proceedings. Amanda frequently engages in community outreach and presents on estate planning and estate settlement throughout Rockland County.
She also has extensive experience in civil litigation representing clients throughout New York State.
Amanda is admitted to practice in New York State and is an active member of the New York and Rockland County Bar Associations.
She currently serves as the Rockland County Bar Association Delegate to the New York State Bar Association House of Delegates.
Education
Amanda graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University at Albany in 2010 and thereafter obtained her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School in 2013. During law school Amanda was a member of the Diane Abbey Law Institute for Children and Families, participated in the Elder Law Clinic and held a judicial internship. She was awarded a Public Service diploma in recognition of her extensive volunteer work.
Following graduation, Amanda worked as a Legal Fellow for a not-for-profit law firm where she assisted economically disadvantaged New Yorkers with the preparation and execution of estate planning documents.
